The distinction that comes from God
Beloved, let's look at how God distinguished Daniel and his companions from the other wise men of Babylon: they were ten times superior to all the magicians and astrologers. Being a Christian does not mean giving up intelligence and wisdom to devote ourselves solely to religious activities. On the contrary, God wants us to excel in all areas, and to be witnesses to His glory.
A Christian can work in a non-believing environment, surrounded by people of different beliefs. However, it must stand out for its work ethic and integrity, reflecting God's light. Our faith must shine through in our professionalism, encouraging others to recognize God's presence in us.
The Holy Spirit gives us superior intelligence and wisdom. He can transform an ordinary person into a powerful instrument of wisdom, capable of guiding others. We are called to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth, excelling in our respective professional fields.
If you're a carpenter, aspire to be the best, recognized for your excellence. If you're an IT specialist, strive for excellence so that your expertise is second to none. Whatever your profession, strive to be the best in your field.
To achieve this excellence, devote time to prayer and fasting. Set aside at least one day a week to pray specifically for your professional activity, asking God to grant you the necessary wisdom and intelligence. Daniel was admitted into the service of the most powerful king of his time because God had filled him with knowledge, intelligence and wisdom. He possessed a mind ten times superior to all the wise men of Babylon.
Understanding the events of the end times requires divine wisdom and intelligence. It is essential to be informed and aware of geopolitical and economic realities to fully grasp prophetic teachings. Prayer and communion with God are indispensable for receiving these revelations.
As Christians, let us be courageous and live by faith. In the face of challenges, let us rely on the Lord and commit ourselves to prayer, individually and collectively. God reveals His mysteries to those who sincerely seek Him. Let us be men and women of prayer, in order to understand and live according to God's will.
Let's remember that to understand the revelations of the end times, it's crucial to have a balanced prayer life. Without it, knowledge can lead to pride rather than true understanding. So let's commit ourselves to being prayerful people, humble and open to God's teachings.
May the Holy Spirit guide us in this quest for wisdom and excellence, so that we can fully play our role as light of the world and salt of the earth.
