Jesus Christ is our Strong City

Enter the fortified city and make it your home.

"In that day, this song shall be sung in the land of Judah: We have a strong city; He gives us salvation for walls and bulwarks. Open the gates, Let the righteous and faithful nation enter. To him who is firm in his feelings, You ensure peace, peace, Because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, For the Lord, the Lord is the rock of the ages.
He has overthrown those who dwell on high, He has brought down the superb city; He has brought it to the ground, He has made it touch the dust. It is trampled under foot, under the feet of the poor, under the steps of the wretched." Isaiah 26:1- 6

On that day, it was a hymn that was sung in Israel, a hymn of deliverance.
While the city of nations lies in ruins, trampled underfoot, the high city is brought low.

The residue, the remnant of Israel is assured it has a strong city that is the fruit of salvation.
The remnant is the one who has remained attached to God. He who has remained connected to Christ will enter the strong city.

Today, Jesus Christ issues an appeal in Matthew 11:28 saying, "Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest."

In fact, Jesus Christ invites you to enter the strong city. In this fortified city, there is peace and faithfulness, trust.
It's a city that won't be shaken, because in it there's life and life in abundance, and that's life insurance.

Jesus Christ is our strong city. When things go wrong around us, our hope is in Jesus Christ.

Bless you in the name of Jesus Christ!
