The story of Obed Edom: abundance and blessing

Serving God with all our heart brings Serving God with all our heart brings abundance and blessing
God wants His children to be blessed and have abundance in their lives. That's why He sent Jesus Christ to bring salvation and the promise of eternal life. When we serve him with all our heart, he blesses us as he did Obed Edom in the Old Testament. At the end of this year, let's remember to put our trust in Jesus Christ and believe in his power to do good for us.

The story of Obed Edom
In 2 Samuel 6, we read the story of Obed Edom. When King David brought God's ark back to Jerusalem, it first stayed in Obed Edom's house for three months. During this time, the Lord blessed Obed Edom and all his family with abundant blessings. The Bible says that "the Lord gave him favor and a sense of well-being before all his people" (2 Samuel 6:11). This reminds us that when we serve God with all our heart, His presence brings us blessing and abundance.

The blessings we receive from serving God
When we dedicate our lives entirely to serving God, we receive many blessings from Him. These blessings can come in many forms, including physical health, spiritual growth, emotional stability, financial resources and more. What's more, when we serve God with all our heart, we have the assurance that His grace will accompany us at every turn of our lives, no matter what difficulties we encounter. We need not fear, for He is always present to protect us from harm, if only we are faithful to His love by serving Him faithfully and diligently every day.

Putting our trust in Jesus Christ
As we approach the end of the year, let's remember to put our trust in Jesus Christ alone, for he is capable of doing great things for us if only we believe in him! Every day, he offers us hope through his word, and gives strength to those who feel weak or discouraged by remembering that despite all the difficulties this world can throw at us, through him all things are possible! Let's never forget what Jesus said about himself: "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10-11). May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you abundantly today! Alleluia!

We serve a powerful God who desires nothing more than to see his children experience abundance in their lives, as he did with Obed Edom so many years ago!

It's only by giving ourselves wholly to His service that these blessings can manifest themselves both spiritually and physically in our lives, so whatever situation or circumstance arises in the days, months, years ahead, let's make sure we remain faithful servants who seek His will above all else! May you be richly blessed as you serve the Lord of your God with all your heart today!
Amen!
