Word of faith from David's Psalm 20

1 To the chief singer.

To confess aloud

2 May the Lord hear you in the day of trouble.
3 May the name of the God of Jacob protect you!
May he send you help from the sanctuary.
4 May he uphold you from Zion!
May he remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt offerings! -Pause.

5 May he give you what your heart desires, and fulfill all your purposes!
6 We will rejoice in your salvation; we will lift up the standard in the name of our God; the LORD will grant all your wishes.

7 Already I know that the Lord saves his anointed; He will answer him from heaven, from his holy dwelling place, by the mighty help of his right hand.
8 These lean on their chariots, these on their horses; we call on the name of the Lord our God.
9 They bend and fall. We stand firm and remain upright.

10 LORD, save the king! May he hear us when we call upon him!
