The Truth

There is nothing hidden that should not be revealed, nor anything secret that should not be known (Luke 12:2).

This world is full of secrets and lies. It's easy to feel like we're constantly being deceived. Whether it's a politician hiding his true intentions, or a friend hiding something from us, it can feel like the truth is always out of reach. Yet the Bible tells us that there is nothing hidden that should not be discovered, and no secret that should not be known. This doesn't mean we should go snooping into other people's affairs, but it does remind us that the truth will always eventually be revealed.

In a world where so much seems to be hidden, it can be hard to know what or whom to believe. However, it's comforting to know that the truth will always come out in the end. Eventually, every secret will be revealed and every hidden thing will be discovered.

To grow and heal, we need to be able to face the discomfort and explore what lies beneath the surface. Only through this process can we truly understand ourselves and learn to move forward in life. The Lord said to his Father, "Sanctify them by your word of truth: your word is truth. John 17:17." This verse reminds us that God's word is truth and has the power to sanctify us.

When we allow God's word to sanctify us, we allow it to change us from the inside out. We allow it to reveal the things that are hidden in our hearts and minds so we can face them in healthy ways. It's not always an easy process, but it's essential for our growth, our healing, and our relationships.

If we often try to keep things hidden, it's because we're afraid of what others will think or say. We're afraid of being judged or rejected. But the truth is that hiding our secrets only traps us in a cycle of shame and fear. When we're open and honest about who we are and what we've done, we set ourselves free. We can finally move forward into the light of day, free to live without fear and love openly.
