The Source of our hope and trust

Justification is the process by which God decides to save a sinner (a transgressor of His Law) apart from any merit on his part. Scripture declares that there is no righteous person, not even one (Romans 3:10), and so self-justification is an absolute impossibility.

In the same way, David expresses the happiness of the man to whom God imputes justice without works: Blessed are those whose iniquities are forgiven. And whose sins are covered! Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute sin! (Romans 4:6-8)

Justification by faith has always been a cornerstone of Christian doctrine, for it is the Good News that we are saved by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, and not by our works.

Or, in the same way, David expresses the great joy and happiness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness without works. He calls blessed those whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered. This is the man to whom the Lord does not impute his sin.

What a wonderful truth! We are justified by faith and not by our works, so that no one can boast. All glory and honor belong to God alone!
Justification by faith, according to the Scriptures, is the cornerstone of our Christian walk. Just as Abraham was justified by his faith in God, we too are justified by our faith in God.

Justification by faith means that we have been freed from the bondage of sin and death, and brought into a right relationship with God.

Justification by faith is not a one-off event, but a lifelong process. When we walk in faith, we are constantly sanctified and renewed by the Holy Spirit.

Justification by faith is the foundation on which we build our lives. It is what enables us to stand firm in the midst of trials and difficulties.

Justification by faith is the source of our hope and trust in God. Thus, justification by faith is what makes us children of God and heirs of His kingdom.

Amen!
