The Mission of God's people

The mission of God's people is to spread the Gospel message. And to share the promise of eternal life with as many people as possible.

The Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins, and rose from the dead, offering us forgiveness and new life. It's a message of hope and salvation that can transform lives.

And it's a message we're called to share with others. As ambassadors for Christ, we must go out into the world and proclaim the Gospel to all creation. It's not an easy task, but it's one to which we are called.

We must be bold in our witness and faithful in our efforts, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with those who are lost and need to hear it so that this good news brings them comfort, and hope.

The promise of eternal life to those faithful to his works.

Christians believe there is life after death. The promise of eternal life to the faithful is found throughout the Bible. In "Luke 10:20, Jesus tells his disciples not to rejoice that the spirits are subject to them, but to rejoice that their names are written in heaven."

This promise of eternal life is a source of comfort and hope for Christians. The idea of spending eternity in heaven with God is a powerful motivation to lead a faithful and obedient life. It's also a reminder that this life is only temporary, and that our ultimate goal should be to spend eternity with God.

Jesus said to him: "What is written in the law? What do you read there? (Luke 10:26)

The law is clear: those who obey it will be blessed, and those who disobey it will be cursed. The promise of eternal life is given to those who obey the law, and this is what Jesus was referring to when he asked the man what he read in the law.

The law is not a burden, but a gift from God that shows us how to live a blessed life. When we obey it, we live in accordance with God's will for our lives, which brings us into a right relationship with Him. The result is that we experience his blessings in our lives, including eternal life.

So the Lord Jesus Christ answered: You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; (To have one God, to be faithful and devoted to him) and your neighbor as yourself.

The law tells us to love our neighbor as ourselves, and this is the key to eternal life. When we love our neighbor, we love God, and when we obey the law, we live in obedience to God. This is how we receive the promise of eternal life. Jesus came to fulfill the law and, in doing so, opened the way for us to receive the promise of eternal life. We can obey the law out of love for God, and when we do, we receive the blessing of eternal life.

God bless you all!
