Revelation about the Book of Life
There are a plethora of interpretations of the Book of Life. Some believe that the moment you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you see your name written in the Book of Life. Let's examine the Scriptures to understand in depth what is truly orthodox.
1 "Moses returned to the Lord and said: Ah, this people has committed a great sin. They have made themselves a god of gold. Now forgive their sin! If not, erase me from your book which you have written. The Lord said to Moses: "I will blot out of my book him who has sinned against me. (Exodus 33: 31-33).
2. "Add iniquity to their iniquities, And let them have no part in your mercy! Let them be blotted out of the book of life, And let them not be written with the righteous!" (Psalms 69:28-29)
3. "He who overcomes will also be clothed in white garments; I will not blot out his name from the book of life." (Revelation 3:5)
After meditating on these three passages, we understand that it is possible for certain names to be erased from the Book of Life. From then on, we understand that everyone is born with his or her name inscribed in this book. Patent sinners, idolaters, followers of pernicious sects, thieves, kidnappers, prostitutes, sorcerers..., your names are in the book of life. It is God's will that all should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
All that remains is for you to validate your names in the Book of Life by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. It's something you can do.
By confessing Jesus Christ in your life, you keep your name in that book. But if you don't while you're alive, your name will be cut off.
What good news to learn that the Lord has programmed us all in the Book of Life. It's up to each of us to validate our name. Hallelujah!
