Perseverance in prayer
Perseverance is the action of persevering, the action of insisting on being constant in prayer.
Why must we persevere? God asks us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17. "Pray without ceasing"
Luke11: 2_13; Mark11: 24 "Therefore I say to you, Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and you will see it fulfilled."
The Lord Jesus Christ urges us to be models, references.
In luc11: 2_13, he is praying, his disciples see him praying, and this state of affairs leads them to want to do as the master does. So they ask to be taught to pray.
In this text from luc 11:1_13 there is the story of a man in need, who goes to his friend in the middle of the night.
Let's remember that this man knows where he's going, he knows his friend. And goes to himself if it's night.
God needs you, whatever the moment.
To do this, you have to know him: he is loving, compassionate and merciful. This story presents us with another fact: the man before his friend is specific: he wants 3 loaves of bread.
We have to be precise in our prayers, tell God what we want with precision and believe that we have received it and will see it fulfilled.
Bless you in the name of Jesus Christ.
