Justice delivers from death

In Proverbs 11:4, it is clear that wealth alone cannot protect us from death, but righteousness can. A Christian believer can understand this passage to mean that life after death is secure only for those who lead a life of faith and goodness.

On the other hand, a non-believer can read this proverb as a warning against relying too heavily on material objects to ensure his or her safety.

No amount of money or possessions can save anyone on the day of wrath, when we will all be judged, regardless of our financial means.

However, by having faith and living uprightly, we can be sure that death will not be the end and that our hope will remain secure even in uncertain times.
