In the midst of storms

In the midst of life's storms, it's natural to seek refuge.

It's reassuring to know that God is our refuge.
He is the one who soothes the waves and calms the wind.
He is the one who gives us strength in the midst of our difficulties. And he is the one who promises never to leave us or forsake us.

When we face challenges, we can take comfort in knowing that God is with us. He'll help us weather the storm and come out the other side stronger.
We long for a safe place, where we can find rest and protection from the storm. And while there are many earthly refuges we can turn to.

The Bible tells us that our ultimate refuge is in God. "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). When we seek Him, we find the peace, joy, love and comfort we so desperately need.

In addition, we will also find the hope that comes from knowing Christ. He is the one who conquered death, and he offers the same life-giving power to all who come to him in faith.

Even when the storms of this world rage, those who trust in God will always find a solid foundation on which to stand. Let us always be grateful for God's grace and presence within us. Yes, we find our refuge in Christ-Jesus.
