I am Saved
" I am saved ". I have been redeemed from the hands of death and given a new life, full of purpose. This is what Christianity teaches us. We are not our own masters. We have been bought at a great price. And that's why we must treat our bodies with respect.
As a Christian, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died on the cross to save me from my sins. I believe that he rose from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. I am a sinner, but I have been forgiven, cleansed and sanctified by the Blood of Jesus Christ.
I am a child of God, and I am his co-heir with Jesus Christ. I am his friend, and I am loved by him. I am saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and I am assured of eternal life.
Then: "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing with the heart that one achieves righteousness, and it is by confessing with the mouth that one achieves salvation, as the Scripture says: "Whoever believes in him will not be put to shame" (Romans 10:9-11). I have been saved, glory to God, amen.
I live by my Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ, and I declare: As a Christian, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died on the cross to save me from my sins.
"I live by Jesus Christ."
When I think I live by Jesus Christ.
I'm reminded of the verse (2 Corinthians 5:17) that says: "So then, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" In Christ, I am a new creation.
I am the one whom Jesus Christ has forgiven, loved and given a new start. Thanks to what Jesus Christ said and did for me on the cross, I am no longer defined by my past, my sins or my mistakes. In Christ, I am a new creation, forgiven and loved. And thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ, I have hope for the future. Glory be to my God, my Lord, my Savior, my Rock, my Shepherd, my Deliverer, my Strength and my support forever.
Then I am defined by the righteousness of Christ. This means I can approach God with confidence and assurance, knowing that he sees me as his beloved child.
I can also witness, declare, boldly proclaim the Gospel to others as God's servant, knowing that its power lies not in my own strength, but in God's.
