How does God answer our prayers?
As human beings, we are limited. We don't know everything, and we can't do everything. But fortunately, we serve a God who is limited by nothing. He knows all and can do all. And one of the ways he shows his power is by answering our prayers.
God is good
First and foremost, we need to understand that God is good. He is a good Father who wants to give his children good gifts (Matthew 7:11). When we pray, we can be sure that He hears us and will answer us according to His perfect will.
Sometimes God's answer is "no"; other times it's "not yet". But even in these circumstances, we can trust that He knows what's best for us and that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9)
When we pray with faith, believing that God can and will do what we've asked, we'll see him act in amazing ways. We may not always understand how or why he does things the way he does, but we can be sure that he always has our best interests at heart
If you're feeling discouraged today, remember that our faithful God hears your prayers and will answer them in due time. Trust him and be convinced that he is doing everything for your good (Romans 8:28).
