How is common sense acquired and why?
Time, thought and perseverance to acquire common sense and good judgment. Common sense is the best guide in life.
Proverbs 13:20 declares, "He who walks with the wise will become wise, but he who has dealings with the stupid will come to harm."
There's no sure way to acquire common sense. Some people seem to be born with it, while others have to learn it the hard way, through trial and error.
But there are a few things you can do to develop your common sense. Pay attention to the people around you who make good decisions, and try to imitate their behavior.
And don't hesitate to seek advice from those who seem to have more wisdom than you. The Bible says that "he who walks with the wise will become wise". In other words, spending time with people who have common sense can rub off on you.
Finally, don't be afraid to admit you've made a mistake. Everyone makes them, but those who learn from their mistakes are more likely to develop common sense.
Why is common sense important? Because it helps us make the right choices in life. It's not always easy to do the right thing, but if we use common sense, we're more likely to avoid harm and make the right decisions that will lead to a happy and successful life.
Philippians 4:8 declares, "If we follow this advice steadfastly, we will have good sense and act circumspectly."
God bless you all!
