The Vision of God

(Read Mt. 9:35-38)

35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in the synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowd, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were languid and downcast, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is great, but the laborers are few. 38 Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.

In verse 36 the text says: "Seeing the crowd, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were languid and downcast, like sheep that have no shepherd."

How do you see the immense needs in your sphere of life?

Is your view of those in need superficial?

Have the look of Jesus! He saw suffering, the sick, the possessed, people who were hungry and thirsty.

He did not turn away from their needs. Do not see men as they are well dressed, those tunics hide a plethora of ailments. I pray the Lord to anoint your eyes, to apply His eye salve so that you may see spiritually.

And when the Lord shows you what to do in this year, keep away from distraction.
Moses could not listen to God's voice unless he turned away from the sheep that accompanied him up the mountain.

May the Lord bless you! Rev Elysée ZOGO
