God cannot be created by Man

Since the dawn of humanity, people have sought to approach and understand the invisible. To do so, they created deities to whom they attributed powers over the elements and over their earthly lives. However, the arrival of Christ changed all that by revealing the true God. Let's explore the question of whether man can create God.

The question of whether man can create God is a fundamental one that has given rise to much discussion and debate over the centuries. The first essential point is that God is the creator of all things, including man. The gods of the past were objects made by human hands. The byeri, ngil (for the Fang), and everything else found in every people throughout the world, but which are objects made from natural materials, are not gods and must not be worshipped.

It's also important to understand that man cannot create God. If man creates his own god, then God is no longer God, for he becomes a product of human imagination, not a supreme and eternal being. While man can create idols or representations of God, this does not mean that he has created God himself.

However, if we look at history, it's clear that the ancients believed in gods of their own devising. We've also seen how some religions created gods in the image of those of the cultures they sought to convert. However, if God had allowed this at the time, it was only to enable man to learn to worship him.

God is unique, eternal and perfect. Ancient masks should no longer be seen as gods, but rather as part of our history. Finally, God is God, and this does not depend on ethnicity, people or religion. There is no substitute for God in man's life. He must be at the center of his life, for He is the source of life and of all that exists.

In 1 John 5, we read: "In him we are in the true, for he is the true God". So we can conclude that God cannot be created by man, for he is the creator of all things. Man-made gods are objects of worship, but they are no substitute for the one eternal Godhead.

The question of whether man can create God is a fundamental one, and one that has been debated for centuries. God is the creator of all things and cannot be created by man. Man-made gods are merely objects of worship, and it is the representations of the one, eternal divinity that must be venerated and adored. We should no longer see ancient masks as gods, but as part of our history. Thus, it is important for man to understand that God must be at the center of his life, for he is the source of all life and all that exists.
