Through Suffering: How God Works to Elevate You

Dearly beloved,

May the Lord's grace and blessings envelop you this day! Today I'd like to share with you an inspiring reflection on how God works through our difficult times.

There's no doubt that Satan, through trials and suffering, seeks to sow discouragement, destabilize, strip and destroy. But remember, God has a very different perspective. He always seeks to uplift you. His deepest desire is for you to become the best version of yourself, living a victorious life that He conquered at the cross on your behalf. He's preparing your heart for the eternal realities of heaven!

Here are some of the extraordinary works the Lord accomplishes through our pain:

1. Divine Correction:

Hebrews 12:5-6 reminds us that the Lord's chastening is a proof of His love. Just as a loving parent disciplines his child for his good, our heavenly Father corrects us in order to bring us back into the path of His will. This process, though painful at first, produces eternal glory for those who submit to it.

2. The Test of Faith:

Trials test our obedience and our faith. It's easy to serve God when things are going well, but how do we react when faced with injustice, indifference, or when painful sacrifices are demanded? Suffering reveals what lies deep in our hearts, allowing us to examine ourselves with honesty.

3. Intimacy with God in Suffering :

Let's take inspiration from the story of Job, who lost everything but chose to bless the name of the Lord. Suffering can be an opportunity to discover God in a new depth, to allow His transformation, and to develop a deeper intimacy with the Father.

So don't withdraw in the face of pain. This could well be your opportunity to grow in intimacy with the Father, to discover Him in a new way, and to allow your pain to become an instrument of transformation, in the image of His beloved Son.

Here's a promise to keep in your heart during these difficult times:

"The God of all grace, who has called you in Jesus Christ to His eternal glory, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself perfect you, strengthen you, fortify you and make you steadfast. To Him be power for ever and ever! Amen." (1 Peter 5:10-11)

"I have acted according to this word of Scripture: those to whom nothing had been said about him will see him, and those who had not heard of him will understand." (Romans 15:21)

With Jesus by your side, you are steadfast. May your hearts rest in peace.

Thank you so much and may the Lord bless you abundantly.

Have a great day!

Amen.
