Water For Life

The Book of Ezekiel tells us of a torrent gushing forth from the sanctuary to water the earth and offer life, enjoyment and holiness to every species. Scientists believe and affirm that water is life. It's recommended to drink an average of two liters of water a day. But did you know that water is not only important for our physical bodies, but also for our spiritual souls?
In this post, we'll talk about the water of life and how it can give us joy, love and holiness.

In Jean 19 :34When Jesus Christ gave his life on the cross, water and blood came forth. These elements give life to man in his flesh and soul. Ezekiel saw a torrent gushing forth from the sanctuary to water the earth and offer life, enjoyment and holiness to every species. He's talking about the Cross of Jesus, which represents the throne and sanctuary of God, while the Holy Spirit is the water that gushes forth. He is the source of life, strength, joy, hope and holiness.

The Spirit is for the man who receives it as a pledge from God that he has been set apart for eternal life. Jesus will return for those who have God's Spirit within them, Romans 8:9 b. A body without water dries up just as much as a Christian without the Holy Spirit lives in profound estrangement, while gradually emptying himself of his substance. As a result, churches become empty; joy, love and brotherhood give way to strife.

Drinking water is important, but so is receiving the water of life from the Holy Spirit. This water can give us the joy, love, peace and holiness we need to live a fulfilled and meaningful life. The Holy Spirit can help us meet life's challenges and live according to God's purposes for us.

So how can we receive this water of the Holy Spirit?

First of all, we need to ask God to fill us with his Spirit. We also need to be open and receptive to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We can cultivate this receptivity by reading the Bible, praying and keeping our hearts open to God.

In conclusion, the water of life is more important than physical water. The water of the Holy Spirit can give us the joy, love and holiness we need to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. We must seek to receive this water of the Holy Spirit by opening our hearts, being receptive to the work of the Holy Spirit and seeking to live according to God's purposes for us. Let us seek this water of life in order to have a fulfilling spiritual life.

As we come to the end of 2023, are you a spring of living water? If Jesus Christ were to return today, would you be taken up with him?

God bless you all!
