(Ecclesiastes 4:17)
The Church for listening: The first thing that brings us together is to listen to the Word of God. It is to such goals that the Lord calls us to the Church. For we can only know and love him if we know his Word.
Faith comes from what we hear, and what we hear comes from the Word of God (Romans 10:17). It is the reading of the Bible that arouses faith, strengthens, corrects and guides the child of God.
For the Christian who uses it, the Word of God is a focus of interest, a source of happiness and above all a source of salvation. So we need to be more attentive during preaching to get the most out of it. Tithes and offerings cannot change our status before the Lord. Only the Word can.
Fulfill your vows: We make vows to the Lord and to our brothers, but we don't fulfill them. It's our habit. But what does the Bible say: "An unfulfilled vow is a debt that the Lord will claim from you." (Deuteronomy 23:25) It's a sin that can be avoided if we're careful not to promise anything in haste."
Sometimes we ask ourselves many questions when evil overwhelms us, forgetting in the moment that we made a vow that we haven't fulfilled. The Word says: "Do not allow your mouth to make your flesh sin." To meditate on.
