God wants to fill the Void inside you

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled" (Mt 5:6).

Everywhere in the world, men and women want to satiate their soul, their body or their mind. Men and women are in search of happiness. The Bible doesn't say: happy are those who hunger and thirst for happiness who will be satisfied, sooner those who hunger and thirst for justice.

- Many people have believed that when their marital status changes, they will find happiness.
- Many people have believed that happiness comes when you have a job.
- Many have thought that sex is where they'll find happiness.

We cannot find happiness in this world apart from God. The Bible says in Ps. 37:4 that "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you what your heart desires.". Why do we seek the fulfillment of our desires in the vain things of this world? Seek first the kingdom and the righteousness of God, and all these things will be added to you. (Mt 6:33).

"For my people have committed a double sin: they have forsaken me, a spring of living water, to dig themselves cisterns, broken cisterns, that hold no water" (Jeremiah 2:13)
Like the people of Israel, men have abandoned their true source of salvation to find happiness elsewhere. All these vain sources are empty cisterns.

"All you who are thirsty, come to the waters, even the one who has no money! Come, buy and eat, come, buy wine and milk, without money, without paying anything!" (Isaiah 55:1)
