Resisting temptation
No temptation has come to you that was not human, and God, who is faithful, will not allow you to be tempted beyond your strength; but with the temptation he will also prepare the way out of it, so that you may be able to bear it. (1 Corinthians 13)
God is faithful, and he will not allow us to be tempted beyond our strength. When we are tempted, he offers us a way out so that we can resist temptation. God knows our weaknesses, and he knows what we're capable of. We can trust him to help us when we're in trouble.
As Christians, we are called to resist temptation and instead live according to God's will. This can be difficult, especially when we are faced with temptations that seem impossible to resist.
When we are tempted, we must not give in. We must remember that God is faithful and will help us resist temptation. God wants us to overcome our temptations so that we can grow closer to him. If we give in to temptation, we only hurt ourselves. God loves us and wants the best for us. When we are tempted, let's remember that God is faithful and will help us overcome temptation.
However, we can take comfort in the fact that God is faithful and will never allow us to be tempted beyond our strength. He will always provide a way out, so that we can bear it. When we feel tempted, let's remember this promise from God and trust that he will help us overcome it.
