Keep your faith in Jesus

As for you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, and praying by the Holy Spirit, hold fast to the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life. (Jude 1:20-21)

(Jude 1:20-21) tells us to keep our faith strong and pray through the Holy Spirit. It also says to wait for the mercy of Jesus Christ for eternal life. This means that we must have faith in Jesus Christ and believe that he is our Savior. We must also be grateful for what he has done for us and continue to live our lives according to his teachings. By doing these things, we will be able to receive eternal life.

The world is not reassuring: wiles, natural calamities, epidemics and false doctrines, so Jude exhorts us in these conditions to two essential things: faith and love.

We, who have believed in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, must strengthen our faith and prefer love to any other feeling, for God is love.

We must strive to convince unbelievers to open their hearts and minds and believe in God's word, so that they can be saved on the day of judgment. Our God abhors unfaithfulness and unbelievers, but He desires all men to come to repentance. Let us pray for those who have not yet believed, and ask God for the word to penetrate their hearts.

But if we trust him, keep the faith and practice love, we are happy men. Jesus said: "If you believe, you will see the glory of God" (John 11:40).

Amen!
