God's approval

Out of love, God corrects and punishes us. Because the choices we have made in our lives are not his choices. The paths we've agreed to take are not his paths.

The best thing we can do is learn to seek God's approval. Learn to have God's opinion in every decision we make.

We are saved from eternal death by the cross, but there is more than one way to be free. God loved us so much that he gave his only Son for our sins - and that's not all! We also need a Savior because of the ignorance and fear that reign in this world.

Let's never forget what already happened between Jesus Christ and the Father when they reached their agreement on salvation many years ago. A person who accepts this in his or her life becomes a completely different creature: Old things disappear while new things take over everything you've known or wanted until now...

When we were lost, Christ died for us. He did not leave the world without an answer to our need for salvation. In fact, he offered his own life as a ransom (atonement) that can be applied specifically by faith. Faith that Jesus' sacrifice was sufficient in his name - no matter whether you're culturally Christian or not, followers of Jesus.

But that doesn't mean that everyone will become exactly like him! There are still limitations imposed on those who have accepted this offer from Almighty God - but what is to be done? Simply put: humility and repentance.
