Unconditional Search: a call to belong

Do you follow Jesus relentlessly? Have you drifted away from him? Or do you wonder about who he is?
Anyway, here's what's true: you're precious in Jesus' eyes. Yes, you are!

There are no prerequisites for experiencing God's love or becoming His concern. You matter to Jesus. He calls you by name to come to him and wants you to be at his side.

Reread these words: he wants you by his side. In Matthew 18:12 (S21), Jesus shares this parable: "What do you think? If a man has 100 sheep and one of them gets lost, doesn't he leave the other 99 on the mountains to go look for the one that got lost?"

It's not just a story: it's the comforting reality of Jesus' love and commitment to each and every one of his people. Jesus, the good shepherd, never abandons his sheep. He never does! He searches diligently for those who have lost their way.

We've all experienced those moments when we feel like lost sheep. Sometimes we think we've strayed from the path. But remember this: you are not forgotten, and you matter to Jesus. He cares about the lost sheep as much as the other 99 who have stayed by his side (Matthew 18:13). So get closer to him, today.
Because whatever your spiritual journey, Jesus is looking for you. He calls you by name, not just to follow him, but to be with him.
