Misunderstanding among Christians in the Church
There's always mischief between Christians in the Church. It's like a game of cat and mouse. One person says something to another and the whole church knows about it within minutes. Gossip, backstabbing and nastiness seem to be the norm rather than the exception. But why is it so?
One reason is that we're human beings, and we're not perfect. We all have our own faults and weaknesses. When we see someone else's flaws, we feel better about ourselves. So we try to find ways to tear them down instead of building them up.
Another reason is that the enemy likes to sow discord between believers. He knows that if he can get us to focus on the faults of others, then we'll be too busy fighting each other to fight him.
The final reason is that we haven't fully surrendered our lives to Christ. We still cling to certain aspects of our lives that we're not ready to let go of. And, when someone comes along and questions these areas, it feels like an attack on our character.
If we want to see the Church unified, we have to start with ourselves. We must surrender our lives fully to Christ and ask him to help us overcome our human nature. We must pray for each other instead of gossiping about each other. And we must stand firm in the face of the enemy's attacks. Only then will we see the unity Christ intended for his Church.
God bless you all!
