Solid, Aligned Values

A man must reflect solid values aligned with God's will. Here are some of the essential values the Bible teaches us:

Love

Love is the basis of everything. He must love God and neighbor with sincerity.
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. And you shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:37,39)

Integrity

A man must be honest and upright in his actions, without deceit or hypocrisy.
"He who walks in integrity walks in safety, but he who walks crooked ways will be found out." (Proverbs 10:9)

Humility

He must not seek to dominate, but to serve with humility.
"Clothe yourselves with humility; for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." (1 Peter 5:5)

Loyalty

Being faithful to God, to your commitments and to your loved ones is a precious quality.
"The faithful man abounds in blessings." (Proverbs 28:20)

Patience and self-control

A good man knows how to control his words and reactions.
"Better is a man slow to anger than a hero, and one who is master of himself than one who takes a city." (Proverbs 16:32)

Courage and perseverance

He faces trials with faith and courage, relying on God.
"Be strong and of good courage! Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you." (Joshua 1:9)
