If anyone loves me

"If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him; and we will come to him, and make our abode with him." (John 14: 23)

Jesus tells us that if we love him, we will keep his words. And if we do, then his Father will love us. And not only will his Father love us, but Jesus and the Father will move in with us.

What a wonderful promise! If we love Jesus and keep his words, he and his Father will come and live with us. They will live in us through the Holy Spirit.

What an impressive thought: that the God of the universe wants to come and live in us! All he asks is that we love him and keep his words. Do you love Jesus?
