Praise to God

Praise is a discourse that highlights God's merits, it's the act of expressing admiration for God. And praise attracts favor. In Africa, there are griots who are hired to sing the praises of certain leaders in certain clans, and this attracts favors.
But God is the head, he is the King of kings, he deserves praise and elevation.

Psalm 100:1-5
Crystals of joy to the Lord, all you inhabitants of the earth!
Serve the Lord with joy, come with gladness into his presence!
Know that the Lord is God! He made us, and we belong to him; we are his people, and the flock of his pasture.
Enter his gates with praise, his courts with song! Celebrate him, bless his name!
For the Lord is good; his lovingkindness endures forever, and his faithfulness from generation to generation.

David's psalm recommends praise to God,
We learn from God, he made us, and to him we will return.
The life we lead here on earth must be a praise to God, whatever our circumstances.

In Acts16:23-27, we have the story of Paul and Silas imprisoned, they didn't look at the chains, but engaged in praise and prayer and were miraculously set free.
Praise is God's, but the results of praise are ours. Praise God, attracts God's grace, because he is present in praise.
