Grace for grace's sake. What does it mean?

Protecting the weak and helping them.

God's grace is first and foremost for the forgiveness of sins. But it's also grace for grace's sake. What does this mean?

This means that grace empowers us to do good, to seek justice and to protect the oppressed.

It also means that grace gives us the strength to do good for the orphan and defend the widow. And it means that grace gives us the courage to stand up for what's right in this world, even when we're afraid. God's grace is sufficient for all this.

And it's available to anyone who asks for it. So let's ask for it. And then let's go out and do good in the world, let's put on God's grace to do good, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
