Even Satan reveals our power!
The power we possess as sons and daughters of God often goes unrecognized and underutilized. Yet even Satan himself knows that we have the authority to command. Sadly, many Christians don't realize their identity and power. Yet the Bible is full of references to our divine power, and it's time we discovered them.
In this article, we'll explore this amazing truth and learn how we can reclaim our power as God's children.
The verse in Luke 4:3 shows Satan addressing Jesus and telling him to turn a stone into bread. However, it's interesting to see how Satan recognizes that Jesus has the authority to give this command. This reveals that even Satan knows that God's children have the power to command. Just as Jesus trusts in his identity as the Son of God, so too must we recognize our identity in Christ.
The Bible clearly states that we were created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27) and that we were made to reign (Revelation 5:10). As children of God, therefore, we have the divine inheritance of kingship. God has given us the authority to command and overcome the forces of evil (Luke 10:19). We have the power to pray for and heal the sick (James 5:15) and to cast out demons (Mark 16:17). It's a power we cannot underestimate.
Unfortunately, most of us don't claim our authority as children of God. We sometimes miss out on the miracles and blessings God has for us simply because we don't realize the height of our inheritance. We're afraid of wanting too much and being too demanding. However, God has given us the power to ask him for all things (John 14:13-14).
Our divine destiny will only be realized when we understand our true potential in Christ. We must remember that our words have an impact on our lives. The words we speak have the power to create our reality. That's why it's so important to speak words of faith and trust in God. We must replace words of doubt and fear with words of faith and hope.
The Bible is rich in references to our authority as children of God. However, too few Christians grasp this reality. We have the power to command, to heal, to cast out demons and much more. We were created in God's image and made to rule. So now is the time to claim our divine identity and reclaim our authority in Christ.
Let's not forget that we have the last word and that our lives are in our hands. Let's trust in what God has given us and use our power, to glorify God and to help others. Amen to that!
Glory to God!
