A beautiful expression of Christian faith
"May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (Corinthians13:13)"
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. These words from Corinthians 13:13 are a beautiful expression of the Christian faith. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is God's free and unmerited favor, manifested to us through the gift of salvation.
God's love is his perfect love for us, demonstrated by his sacrifice on the cross.
The communion of the Holy Spirit is the communion we have with God, made possible by the presence of his Spirit in our lives.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ enables us to enter into this communion, and the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives enables us to commune with God.
Together, these three things form the core of what it means to be a disciple of Christ.
The communion of the Holy Spirit is the very heart of what it means to follow Christ. It is a relationship of love and grace, made possible by the gift of self to God himself. In the communion of the Holy Spirit, we find the very life of God made available to us. This is Christ's gift to us, and the foundation of our discipleship.
May we all know and understand the reality of these things in our lives today?
May God bless you abundantly!
