Our Daily Bread
Take a moment to remember God's faithfulness in your life. Maybe He answered a prayer, fulfilled a promise or provided for your needs in an unexpected way.
In the "Our FatherJesus teaches his disciples to turn to God with confidence. He says:
"Give us this day our daily bread." (Matthew 6:11)
This prayer reminds us the story of the people of Israel, who wandered for 40 years in the desert before entering the Promised Land. During this period of trial, God provided them with daily sustenance, sending them manna, bread from heaven.
This example teaches us to depend entirely on God, with humility and trust.
God feeds us every day
The Word of God is our spiritual nourishment. It gives us :
Strength for today it renews our faith.
Hope for tomorrow it reminds us of its promises.
A vision for the future it guides us along the right path.
"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4)
When we seek God through his word, he works beyond our expectations. He strengthens and sustains us in every season of our lives.
Take time today to :
Read the Bible and meditate on its promises.
Thanking God for its loyalty and provision.
Trusting himknowing that he cares for you.
God is faithful! Entrust your needs to Him, and He will always provide at the right time.
