Fear not God will come to your aid

"Reflections based on the Holy Scriptures

"Do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not be amazed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my triumphant right hand." - Isaiah 41:10

This word of God is a comfort to believers in times of fear and discouragement. In difficult times, we all need encouragement and comfort, and we can find that in the Holy Scriptures. In this article, we'll explore further what the Holy Scriptures tell us, about God's promise to come to our aid when we fear.

1) In the Holy Scriptures, God repeatedly promises to come to the aid of His people in times of need. Psalm 46:2 says, "God is our refuge and strength, our help in time of need. This verse emphasizes that God is always close to us and ready to help in any difficult situation. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, Paul writes that the Lord said: "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness". This passage is a reminder that God's strength is the key to our victory, even when we're in our most vulnerable situation.

2) Scripture also reminds us that even when we face difficult situations, God is able to change our situation. In Psalm 34:18, we read: "The Lord is near to those who are brokenhearted, and saves those who are troubled. This verse suggests that God is ready to come to the aid of those who suffer and weep. In the life of Moses, we see that God changed the plight of the children of Israel by delivering them from slavery in Egypt (Exodus 14:13-14). This story is proof that God is always willing to change our situations, even when we think all is lost.

3) Another important point is that God is willing to give us signs, to encourage us when we're in trouble. In the book of Matthew 14:27, Jesus said to Peter as he walked on the water to come to Him: "Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid". This passage shows that God is willing to give us tangible signs to encourage us. Sometimes these signs may be the words we hear or the people we meet, but we can rest assured that God will always send us something to help us when we need it.

4) We should also remember that God is the source of our strength, and that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Philippians 4:13 says: "I can do all things through him who strengthens me". This verse reminds us that God gives us the strength to overcome every difficult situation. When we're ready to trust God, He's ready to give us the strength to live each day, no matter what we're going through. We can find peace, joy and strength in prayer, meditation and reading God's Word.

5) Finally, we should remember that God's promise to come to our aid is real, lasting and unshakeable. In Psalm 121:1-2, we read: "I will lift up my eyes to the mountains: from where shall my help come?
Help comes to me from the Lord, who made heaven and earth". This verse is a declaration of trust in God, which we always need to repeat when we're in difficult situations. God is always there for us, to encourage, help, protect and guide us.

In this post, we explored what Scripture tells us about God's promise to come to our aid when we fear. We discovered that God is always ready, to help us in any difficult situation, that He is able to change our situation, to give us tangible signs to encourage us and to strengthen us when we face adversity. We should remember that God's promise to come to our aid is real, lasting and unshakeable. Let us find peace, joy and strength in prayer, meditation and reading God's Word. Amen!

God bless you all!
