All things are yours through Jesus Christ

In 1 Corinthians 3, the apostle Paul exhorts us to put our glory in God, not in men. He reminds us that all things are ours.
Whether it's Paul, Apollos, Cephas or the world, because we belong to Christ and Christ belongs to God. God's grace in Jesus Christ gives us righteousness and eternal life and sets us apart from the world. Let's explore what it means to be "in Christ."

What does it mean to be "in Christ"?
The expression "in Christ" refers to being part of His spiritual body, the Church. As believers, we become members of this body when we accept his grace and receive salvation through faith in him. Being "in Christ" means that we are no longer slaves to sin, but have been set free by his perfect love and mercy. We can now experience true freedom from guilt, shame and fear as we walk with Him every day.

When we are "in Christ", we are also bound to a new covenant with God. This covenant was established when Jesus died for our sins on the cross and rose again on the third day. Now that He has given Himself for us, all things belong to Him, and He calls us to live according to His commandments. When we abide in Him and remain rooted in His Word, He will grant us peace and joy beyond measure, as well as protection from the forces of evil that seek to destroy us spiritually and physically.

What are the advantages of being in Jesus?
The benefits of being "in Christ" are many! We become children of God who can approach Him with confidence, knowing that He loves us unconditionally as He did His only Son (John 3:16). By believing in Him and accepting Him into our hearts, we enter into an intimate relationship where nothing is impossible (Matthew 19:26). What's more, since all things belong to Jesus, they also belong to those who remain faithful: victory over sin (Romans 8:37), abundant life (John 10:10), eternal life (John 6:40), all these things become ours through Him!

If you believe that Jesus is Lord, then you have been made alive in Him (Colossians 2:13). All things are yours because you are "in Christ"! Therefore, don't put your glory in men; rather, put your trust fully in God because all things are yours through Him alone, including the ultimate victory over sin and death. Put your faith in Jesus today so that you can enjoy eternal life with him!

Amen!
