The Higher Life

The superior life is that which is situated above; that which has authority over the natural life; a life that gives the right to command.
To live in this superhuman sphere, you must agree to be transformed by the Word of God.

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." (Romans 12:2)

Conforming means adopting an outward attitude that doesn't reflect what's really inside.

To transform means to metamorphose. To be born again means to have a recreated mind, to become a new person. If your mind has been renewed, your thinking has not. You can see why the same thoughts from your past life continue to plague your mind. These negative ideas (of weakness, wickedness, poverty, sickness and sin) could continually dominate your thinking if it isn't renewed by God's Word.

Nourish your mind and spirit with the Word. Adjust and renew your thinking by the Word. Then you'll have God's thoughts and God's faith. If divine ideas dominate in you, then that's what will change your state of mind. Your old life or birth may have been tainted with a lot of negativity, but know that in Christ now you have a new life.

You have been begotten by the Word. This Word is incorruptible (1 Peter 1:23). You have received a new configuration, a new programming. You are now governed by the laws of heaven. On that note, live by divine standards. Hallelujah!!!
