Confidence will save us

(Matthew 6:34) So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has its own troubles.

Ecclesiastes also says that there is a time for everything under the sun (Ecclesiastes 3:1). God the Creator has planned everything for a time.

When Israel went to gather the manna, they were forbidden to take only what was necessary for that day and for the whole house. Those who didn't understand, who wanted to take more with tomorrow in mind, got food poisoning, because the manna had rotted during the night (Exodus 31).

The recommendation about the manna was an invitation to faith. God wanted to test his people's level of trust. Doubt in a child of God is not without consequence, especially when it comes to the Word of God. We need to practice trusting one another and trusting the Lord our God, the Lord Jesus Christ. The advantage is enormous.

Behind confidence lies the treasure of glory. There are also abundant blessings and eternal life. Worry, on the other hand, makes us miserable every day.

God invites us to believe in his promises as much as David did, according to this psalm: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want (Psalm 23:1).

See you soon in confidence in God's promise!
