The gushing spring of brandy

(Amos 5:24) But let righteousness gush forth like a spring, let justice flow like an overflowing river!

Jesus Christ said: "He who believes in me, rivers of living water will flow from his belly, as the Scripture says". This means that we must let God's Spirit make us children of God.

This morning, the Lord Jesus Christ asks us to get into action and take action to support his ministry and his gospel to the ends of the earth. The first thing to do is to start where you are... I mean, in yourself.

Isn't that wonderful? To start talking to the Lord, saying, Father of grace, here I am, giving you free access to my life.

May your righteousness be like a stream of water that gushes up inside me, and your justice like a torrent that never runs dry. Lord, I offer myself as an offering. Do with me what you will.

Take control of my life forever. Holy Spirit, work in my life, gush out, fill me and flow. I let your righteousness and justice flow over my family, friends and every human being. Don't limit yourself Lord, flood us and flow, overflow.

May your righteousness and justice transform us, Lord, and make us disciples of your Gospel. Thank you Eternal Father, it is in the name of Jesus Christ that I seal my life to you, amen.
