Spiritual Growth

We are called to grow and evolve in all areas by following the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

(Hebrews 5:11-14): "We have much to say about this, and things difficult to explain, because you have become slow to understand.
You, indeed, who long ago should have been teachers, you still need to be taught the first rudiments of God's oracles, you have come to need milk and not solid food."

In this passage, the Lord speaks to us of the need to grow spiritually in all areas, just as Jesus did when he taught his disciples about God's love for them. A child of God is called to grow and evolve in all areas, following the example of Jesus Christ. In (Luke 2:52), we say, "And Jesus grew in stature, wisdom and grace before God and men."

"Now whoever is in milk has no experience of the word of righteousness; for he is a child.
But solid food is for made men, for those whose judgment is exercised by use to discern what is good and what is evil."

Knowledge of the Law was a starting point in the knowledge of God for the people of Israel in the desert after their liberation from Egyptian slavery. Through it, they were to learn submission to the Lord, the Creator God. In God's plan, it was necessary to introduce them to salvation by faith, and to Jesus Christ as the only intermediary between God and men after this stage.

The Christian life is open. Faith is not called to remain stable. It is growing and demonstrative. Fear, anxiety and anguish are partly due to the weakness of our faith, which does not grow. The Bible goes on to say that disputes, quarrels, jealousies in a Christian community occur because we are dominated by our carnal desires, which leads to carnal rivalries.

We need to devote more time to spiritual disciplines like reading God's word (APPLICATION), meditation or worshiping Jesus Christ so he can transform us from the inside out!
The lack of daily prayer is just one small example.

We can remain vulnerable as long as we stay put.
