Regeneration

(Job 14:4): - How shall a pure man come out of a defiled being? None can come forth.

None. A tree has hope: when you cut it down, it grows back, it produces offshoots again; when its root has aged in the earth, when its trunk dies in the dust, it turns green again at the approach of water, it sprouts branches like a young plant. This is the regeneration of the body.

Human regeneration is linked to Jesus Christ, who makes it possible.. Without Christ, man is a breath that passes unnoticed with no tomorrow. So man lies down and won't get up again, he won't wake up as long as the heavens remain, he won't come out of his sleep. He awaits Christ's return.

Man's life then depends on his faith in Jesus Christ. If the tree has the power to regenerate itself after being cut down, man must die and rise again in Christ. He then becomes a new creature in Jesus Christ. This is the regeneration of the soul. Christ restores his state before God and he becomes pure. It is the blood of the cross that purifies those who have faith.

Another fact is that a tree cannot regenerate unless it dies. You need breakage to regenerate, to have restoration. And breaking is death. Death is a state of transition. You have to die to become a new creature.
