The statement \u00ab\u00a0What is impossible is possible for God\" (Luke 18:27).<\/strong>, is popular and is often attributed to Jesus Christ. But where does this claim come from?<\/p>\n In the Bible, there are several different passages where Jesus says something similar. For example, in Luke 18:27, Jesus tells the parable of a persistent widow who keeps asking a judge for justice. The judge ignores her at first, but eventually gives in because he knows she won\u2019t stop pestering him until she gets what she wants.<\/strong><\/p>\n This story highlights an important truth about God: He is always ready to listen to our prayers, no matter how many times we ask.<\/p>\n Jesus then said, \u00abWill not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they receive justice\u2014and quickly.\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n Here, Jesus says that God will answer the prayers of His people, even if it seems impossible to people. This is just one example of how the Bible shows us that with God, nothing is impossible.<\/p>\n Just as the widow kept coming to the judge until he finally gave in, we should never lose hope that God will answer our prayers. He may not always answer in the way we expect, but He will always hear them.
