\"When I am weak, then I am strong\" (2 Corinthians 12:10); weakness is an inner strength.<\/strong><\/p>\n It is often said that we are at our strongest when we are at our weakest. This could not be truer than in the case of Paul, a man who was afflicted with a \u00ab\u00a0splinter in the flesh<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bbwhich caused him great suffering. Despite his many trials, Paul persevered, and God used his weakness to demonstrate His strength.\".<\/p>\n That is why Paul writes: \u00bbFor when I am weak, then I am strong.\u201d In other words, it is through our weakness that God shows His power. By relying on His strength, we can overcome any obstacle. So the next time we face a difficult situation, let\u2019s remember that God is with us, and that He will use our weakness to demonstrate His strength.<\/p>\n Although it is certainly not always easy to be joyful, grateful, and prayerful, these things are important for Christians, because this is God\u2019s will for us. When we are joyful, we exalt God and give Him thanks for all the good things He has done for us. This attitude of joy will also make us more inclined to pray without ceasing\u2014to be continually aware of God\u2019s presence in our lives and to talk to Him throughout the day.<\/p>\n Furthermore, being grateful in all things\u2014even in difficult circumstances\u2014reminds us that God is sovereign and that He is in control of the situation. It can be easy to focus on our problems and think that things will never get better, but when we take the time to thank God for His goodness, we can begin to see His hand at work even in the midst of difficulties. Therefore, let us always be joyful, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances, knowing that this is God\u2019s perfect will for our lives.<\/p>\n However, it's easy to be grateful when life is going well. But what about when things get tough?<\/p>\n When we're faced with challenges and difficulties, it can be hard to see the bright side. Yet the Bible tells us to give thanks in all circumstances (1Thessalonians 5:18). Why do we do this? <\/strong><\/p>\n Because being grateful reminds us that God is sovereign and that He is in control of the situation. No matter what we face, He is always on the throne. And His promise is that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).<\/strong><\/p>\n So even when things are difficult, we can take comfort in knowing that our God is always in control.
