When Paul wrote his letter to the church in Thessalonica, he commended them for their faith, which had become a model for other churches. But this was no accident. The Thessalonians had gone through difficult times, and their faith had been put to the test. They persevered, and their faith grew stronger than ever.

When you’re going through difficult times, remember that you’re not alone. And like the Thessalonians, your faith can be a source of inspiration to others.

«We constantly remember before God our Father your work of faith, your labor of love, and the steadfastness of your hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.» (1 Thessalonians 1:3).

There is an explanation for this: – Next, it is said that they received the Word with the help and power of the Holy Spirit. Yet today, we tend to neglect involving the Holy Spirit in our missionary activities. Everything is done based on our intellectual abilities, on which we rely heavily.

It is generally accepted that without a role model and in the absence of the Holy Spirit, one cannot develop a faith that serves as a standard or live out that faith. It is certainly difficult these days to find a role model to look up to, even though we used to rely on them for future generations.

[26

post-742","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-etudes-biblique

– First, they identified with their apostles in order to attain such faith. You can only go so far without strong support. And if we feel like we’re stagnating, one of the reasons is this lack of role models.
