C&rsquo;est le r\u00e9sultat d&rsquo;une promesse non tenue, d&rsquo;un amour trahi, d&rsquo;un r\u00eave bris\u00e9, d&rsquo;un comportement inattendu venant de quelqu&rsquo;un en qui on croyait. La d\u00e9ception na\u00eet souvent l\u00e0 o\u00f9 il y avait confiance, espoir ou attachement.<br \/>\nBut disappointment is part of the human condition. No human being, no matter how good, can perfectly fill our hearts. Why can't they? Because the human heart is limited, fallible, influenced by sin.<br \/>\n________________________________________\n<h4><strong>Why are we disappointed in each other?<\/strong><\/h4>\nParce que nous attendons trop des gens. Nous esp\u00e9rons que l&rsquo;autre sera parfait, fid\u00e8le, honn\u00eate, constant. L&rsquo;amour se refroidit. Les relations sont superficielles. Il a aim\u00e9 Judas, l&rsquo;a nourri, enseign\u00e9, envoy\u00e9&#8230; mais Judas l&rsquo;a trahi.<br \/>\n\"<strong> Judas, c&rsquo;est par un baiser que tu livres le Fils de l&rsquo;homme ?<\/strong> \"<br \/>\n<strong>&#8211; Luc 22 :48<\/strong><br \/>\nJ\u00e9sus n&rsquo;a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 surpris. Il savait que cela arriverait, mais Il a continu\u00e9 d&rsquo;aimer. Il a choisi de pardonner, d&rsquo;accomplir sa mission, de faire confiance au P\u00e8re.<br \/>\n________________________________________<br \/>\n<strong>To you who have been wounded: God sees you<\/strong><br \/>\nTu as aim\u00e9, donn\u00e9, servi&#8230; et on t&rsquo;a bless\u00e9(e). Peut-\u00eatre m\u00eame trahi(e) dans ton couple, abandonn\u00e9(e) par des amis, ou ignor\u00e9(e) dans l&rsquo;\u00e9glise. Dieu conna\u00eet ta douleur. Il pleure avec toi. Mais Il veut te gu\u00e9rir.<br \/>\n\" <strong>L&rsquo;\u00c9ternel est pr\u00e8s de ceux qui ont le c\u0153ur bris\u00e9, et Il sauve ceux qui ont l&rsquo;esprit abattu.<\/strong> \"<br \/>\n<strong>&#8211; Psaume 34 :18<\/strong><br \/>\n\" <strong>He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.<\/strong> \"<br \/>\n<strong>&#8211; Psaume 147 :3<\/strong><br \/>\n________________________________________<br \/>\n<strong>Biblical advice for overcoming disappointment<\/strong>\n<strong>1. Acknowledge your pain before God<\/strong><br \/>\nDon't pretend. Talk to Him. He understands and He consoles.<br \/>\n<strong>2. Forgive to be free<\/strong><br \/>\nLe Psaumes 147 : on ne justifie pas le mal, mais lib\u00e8re ton c\u0153ur du poison de l&rsquo;amertume.<br \/>\n\" <strong>Supportez-vous les uns les autres&#8230; pardonnez comme Christ vous a pardonn\u00e9.<\/strong> \"(Colossians 3:13)<br \/>\n<strong>3. Trust God, not men<\/strong><br \/>\nEven the best can fail, but God is faithful.<br \/>\n\" <strong>Dieu n&rsquo;est pas un homme pour mentir, ni un fils de l&rsquo;homme pour se repentir.<\/strong> \" (Numbers 23:19)<br \/>\n<strong>4. \u00c9vite l&rsquo;id\u00e9alisation des gens<\/strong><br \/>\nPlace no one on the throne of your heart but Jesus.<br \/>\n<strong>5. Be wise in your relationship choices<\/strong><br \/>\nPrie avant de t&rsquo;engager. Ne te laisse pas s\u00e9duire par les apparences (2 Timoth\u00e9e 3 :5).<br \/>\n<strong>6. Nourish your relationship with God every day<\/strong><br \/>\nPlus tu t&rsquo;attaches \u00e0 Lui, moins tu d\u00e9pendras des hommes pour \u00eatre heureux.<br \/>\n________________________________________<br \/>\n<strong>A warning: don't be a source of disappointment<\/strong>\n\" <strong>Malheur \u00e0 celui par qui le scandale arrive ! Il vaudrait mieux pour lui qu&rsquo;on suspende \u00e0 son cou une meule de moulin et qu&rsquo;on le jette dans la mer.<\/strong> \"<br \/>\n<strong>&#8211; Luc 17 :1-2<\/strong><br \/>\nSi tu as bless\u00e9 quelqu&rsquo;un, trahi, menti, manipul\u00e9 : <strong>repens-toi aujourd&rsquo;hui<\/strong>. Grace is still available, but don't delay. Ask for forgiveness, change your ways, make amends if you can.<br \/>\n________________________________________<br \/>\n<strong>Ce que l&rsquo;\u00c9glise doit faire<\/strong><br \/>\nL&rsquo;\u00c9glise ne doit pas fuir ce sujet. Il faut <strong>dare to talk about inner suffering<\/strong>welcoming the wounded, listening without judging, <strong>helping broken hearts to heal<\/strong>. Le silence tue. He is faithful, constant, true. Je choisis de faire confiance \u00e0 toi, et non aux hommes. Sois mon refuge et mon appui. Aide-moi \u00e0 ne plus \u00eatre une source de scandale pour personne.
