If we can\u2019t physically control our circumstances, we\u2019ll focus on them mentally, and our thoughts will go round and round in circles. That\u2019s exactly why Paul advises us not to worry about anything\u2014because he knows the consequences of anxiety.<\/p>\n
Paul, the author of the Epistle to the Philippians, writes:<\/strong><\/p>\n \"\u00a0Do not be anxious about anything (Philippians 4:6).\"<\/strong> This is not a suggestion or a recommendation. \nThe request:<\/strong> Make a fervent plea to the One who has the authority to intervene. His power is great enough to restore everything that has been broken in your life.
\nPraise:<\/strong> Gratitude protects our hearts. Worship frees us from the clutches of anxiety. Give thanks to God for the magnificent sunset, for the blooming flowers, for the falling snow, for our daily meals, and for a warm blanket on a cold day. We can always find reasons to thank God.\nPaul promises that God\u2019s peace will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus when we practice prayer, supplication, and praise. We need not worry about anything if we bring all our needs before God. Nothing is too small or insignificant.
