\n\t\tL’Attente : une \u00e9preuve pleine de promesses\n\t<\/h1>\n\tAttendre peut s’av\u00e9rer difficile. La plupart d’entre nous pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent des r\u00e9ponses et des r\u00e9sultats rapides, efficaces, et, si possible, instantan\u00e9s. Pourtant, l’attente fait partie int\u00e9grante de la vie.
\nNous attendons que des graines deviennent des plantes nourrici\u00e8res, que les saisons se succ\u00e8dent, que les b\u00e9b\u00e9s grandissent pour devenir des adultes, ou encore que les arbres atteignent leur maturit\u00e9 pour offrir de l’ombre. Qu’on le veuille ou non, l’attente exige de la patience.
\nElle peut durer des jours, des mois, des ann\u00e9es, voire des d\u00e9cennies : attendre une pri\u00e8re exauc\u00e9e, des excuses attendues trop longtemps, le bon moment pour agir, ou la r\u00e9alisation d’un r\u00eave cher. Cette attente, bien que difficile, demande du courage.\nLe roi David, il y a pr\u00e8s de 3 000 ans, connaissait bien cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9. Lui aussi a d\u00fb attendre le moment choisi par Dieu pour devenir roi, \u00eatre d\u00e9livr\u00e9 de ses ennemis et voir ses pri\u00e8res exauc\u00e9es. Il a \u00e9crit dans les Psaumes :
\n\u00ab Esp\u00e8res-en l’\u00c9ternel ! Fortifie-toi et que ton c\u0153ur s’affermisse ! Esp\u00e8res-en l’\u00c9ternel ! \u00bb (Psaume 27 :14).
\nSi David a jug\u00e9 si important de r\u00e9p\u00e9ter cet appel \u00e0 l’esp\u00e9rance en un seul verset, nous devrions y pr\u00eater attention. Mais esp\u00e9rer en Dieu ne signifie pas attendre passivement.\n

Actively waiting on God<\/h4>\nWe can wait on God proactively:<\/strong>
\n- By keeping in touch with Him through prayer.<\/strong>
\n- By seeking His hand in the ordinary moments of everyday life.<\/strong>
\n- By reading His Word, which reveals His purposes.<\/strong>
\n\u2022 En l’adorant, quelles que soient les circonstances.<\/strong>
\n\u2022 En servant les autres, qu’ils soient proches ou \u00e9loign\u00e9s.<\/strong>
\n\u2022 En Lui rendant gr\u00e2ce pour tout ce qu’Il nous a d\u00e9j\u00e0 offert.<\/strong>
\nM\u00eame si une porte semble ferm\u00e9e ou qu’une opportunit\u00e9 tarde \u00e0 venir, cela ne signifie pas que Dieu est inactif. Au contraire, Il \u0153uvre souvent dans l’ombre pour pr\u00e9parer ce qu’Il a pr\u00e9vu.<\/strong>\n

Les exemples de l’attente fid\u00e8le<\/h4>\nL’\u00c9criture regorge d’exemples de personnes ayant attendu Dieu avec foi :<\/strong>
\n\u2022 No\u00e9, qui a pass\u00e9 des d\u00e9cennies \u00e0 construire une arche avant que Dieu n’accomplisse Sa promesse.<\/strong>
\n- Ruth, who, after the loss of her husband, followed her mother-in-law and worked in the fields, trusting in divine providence.<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Joseph, rest\u00e9 fid\u00e8le pendant des ann\u00e9es en prison avant d’\u00eatre \u00e9lev\u00e9 au rang de commandant en second de l’\u00c9gypte.<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Jean, qui, malgr\u00e9 son exil sur l’\u00eele de Patmos, a \u00e9crit plusieurs livres du Nouveau Testament en s’abandonnant \u00e0 la volont\u00e9 de Dieu.<\/strong>
\nCes t\u00e9moignages nous montrent que, m\u00eame dans l’attente, Dieu travaille activement pour accomplir Ses plans.<\/strong>\n

L’assurance de l’attente<\/h4>\n

Peu importe les d\u00e9fis auxquels tu fais face, demande \u00e0 Dieu de te donner la patience et la foi pour Lui confier ton avenir. M\u00eame si l’incertitude semble dominer, sache que lorsque tu t’appuies sur le Seigneur, tu peux apprendre \u00e0 attendre de la bonne mani\u00e8re. Avec courage et esp\u00e9rance, rappelle-toi que le temps de Dieu est toujours parfait. \u00ab B\u00e9ni soit l’homme qui se confie dans l’\u00c9ternel, Et dont l’\u00c9ternel est son Esp\u00e9rance ! \u00bb (J\u00e9remie17 :7)<\/strong><\/p>\n
