For us, this double affirmation is very important, because it reminds us that our Christian life must be oriented towards seeking God and his will. We must therefore safeguard this faith in one God and in Jesus Christ, while seeking to go ever further in our relationship with them.

Beyond the simple affirmation of faith, this verse also reminds us that our lives have a divine purpose and objective. We are here to live for God and to honor His name. Everything we do, therefore, must be oriented towards this ultimate, God-centered goal. We are not here for ourselves, but for God.

Finally, this verse exhorts us to be true witnesses of the Christian faith. We must live by the principles laid down in this verse, and show others that our faith in one God and in Jesus Christ is the source of our hope and assurance. We must be ambassadors of God and his love to the whole world.

This verse is therefore a beacon for our spiritual life, enabling us to keep the faith and remain rooted in God's word.
