In a town where Jesus was, a leper came to him, threw himself on his face and said to him: \" Lord, if you want, you can make me clean<\/strong> \". Jesus touched him, saying, \" I want you to be clean. And immediately the leprosy withdrew from him<\/strong> \". Cela se comprend quand on vit dans un monde que caract\u00e9risent l’\u00e9go\u00efsme et l’indiff\u00e9rence ; on peut toujours douter de la bonne volont\u00e9 de ceux qui pourraient venir en aide aux malheureux.<\/p>\n Le l\u00e9preux ne connaissait pas encore le seul Homme qui faisait contraste avec tous les autres, celui qui, \u00e9mu de compassion envers sa cr\u00e9ature, \u00e9tait venu du ciel pour la secourir, l’homme compatissant, mais en m\u00eame temps J\u00e9hovah accomplissant en faveur de son peuple ce qui \u00e9tait dit de lui dans le Psaume 103 :3 : \u00ab C’est lui qui pardonne toutes tes iniquit\u00e9s, qui gu\u00e9rit toutes tes infirmit\u00e9s \u00bb<\/strong>. And also: \" Je suis l’\u00c9ternel qui te gu\u00e9rit<\/strong> \" (Exodus 15:26).<\/p>\n The leper's weak faith immediately receives the answer that only grace could give him: \" I want, be clean<\/strong> \u00bb. J\u00e9sus lui recommanda de ne dire \u00e0 personne ce qui \u00e9tait arriv\u00e9, mais d’aller se montrer au sacrificateur et d’offrir ce que la loi de Mo\u00efse ordonnait en pareil cas (voir L\u00e9vitique 14), afin, dit-il, \"Let it be a testimony to them<\/strong>. H\u00e9las ! nous savons qu’il demeura vain pour la nation ; les Juifs ne crurent pas en lui.<\/p>\n The fame of Jesus spread more and more; \" de grandes foules s’assembl\u00e8rent pour l’entendre et pour \u00eatre gu\u00e9ries de leurs infirmit\u00e9s ; mais lui, se tenait retir\u00e9 dans les d\u00e9serts et priait<\/strong> \u00bb. J\u00e9sus ne cherchait pas la renomm\u00e9e ; il accomplissait son service et se soustrayait aux \u00e9loges et \u00e0 l’admiration des hommes pour chercher, dans l’isolement, la communion de Dieu par la pri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n Il \u00e9tait l’homme d\u00e9pendant de Dieu pour exercer la puissance divine en faveur des malheureux.
