Learn from those who use you<\/strong><\/p>\n When someone takes advantage of you for their own gain, it can be hard to see the silver lining. However, this experience can teach you to set boundaries and to know when it\u2019s appropriate to speak up\u2014rather than just accepting what someone else wants. It can also remind you that people don\u2019t always have your best interests at heart and that sometimes it\u2019s better to walk away than to stay in an unhealthy situation.<\/p>\n Learn from those who challenge you<\/strong><\/p>\n Sometimes, the people closest to us are the ones who test us the most. When that happens, it\u2019s important not to take their words or actions personally. Instead, try to see how that person might be trying to help you grow as a person or encourage you on your journey of faith. It reminds us that we don\u2019t need someone else\u2019s approval or validation to feel whole and complete; our worth comes from Jesus Christ alone. We also learn to let go and trust in God, who has something better in store for us if we open ourselves to His plan instead of clinging to something unhealthy or unsatisfying out of fear or pride.<\/p>\n Learn from those who love you<\/strong><\/p>\n Finally, those who love us unconditionally may be the greatest teachers we have in life, because they show us what true love looks like. They remind us that relationships take work, but that anything worth having is worth fighting for; they strengthen our faith through their example and offer us support in difficult times, without judgment or criticism.
