Revelation 6:6 And I heard a voice among the four living creatures saying, \u201cA measure of wheat for a denarius, and three measures of barley for a denarius; but do not harm the oil and the wine.\u201d.<\/p>\n
God has weighed us, and we have been found wanting; likewise, those who thought they weighed more are also found wanting on His scales. The number and nature of sins matter little; every transgression is a sin. There are no small or great sins; we are sinners for every act of disobedience we commit, and we deserve the punishment of the lake of fire. This is more of a call to action now, for in this time of grace we can still work toward our forgiveness and our election. \u00abActs 2:38 Peter said to them, \u00bbRepent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\nThis text speaks of oil and wine, which we must be careful not to harm. In the Bible, oil has often referred to the Holy Spirit, and wine to the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross. Being anointed with oil is also a sign of election\u2014of having been identified and set apart by God for a specific purpose. Being clothed with the Holy Spirit and covered by the blood of the Lamb of God are essential for entering heaven. God will spare every soul who is washed in the blood of Jesus and those who are marked with the seal of the Spirit. We are in the Church, brothers and sisters, for our salvation. (Revelation 7:3, Romans 4:11)
\n1 Corinthians 6:19\u201320 says that you are the temple of the Holy Spirit, that you have been redeemed at a great price\u2014the blood of Jesus Christ\u2014and that is your value in the name of Jesus Christ.
