One of the hardest things to do in life is to wait. It\u2019s hard to wait for answers or changes to happen, especially when we feel like we can solve our own problems in life on our own.<\/p>\n
But here's the reality: when we try to take control of our own lives, we often find ourselves in unexpected and tricky situations. Sometimes, we find ourselves mired in an impossible situation.<\/p>\n
Deep down, we may never have intended to find ourselves in these situations, but by trying to control or ignore the direction God is leading our lives, we make mistakes. We do not have the full knowledge of the future that only God possesses. We do not have the power to overcome everything that comes our way as only God can.<\/p>\n
When we find ourselves facing unexpected situations, the best thing to do is to turn to the Lord and wait for His answer. If we wait patiently on God, it gives Him time to work in our lives as He desires. Through this exercise of faith in God, our relationship with Him will also grow stronger.<\/p>\n
The psalmist tells us that God rescued him from the mire and set his feet upon a firm and solid rock. God not only saved him from his troubles, but He also gave him a safe place to weather every storm. Hallelujah!<\/p>\n
Take some time today to talk with God. If you\u2019re currently going through a time of waiting, ask God for patience and perseverance. God wants you to put your faith in Him, even as you wait. God is our ultimate refuge, and He is never late. Thank Him for everything He has saved you from, and continue to trust Him as you draw closer to Him.<\/p>\n
